A Message from the Chair
A Message from the Chair
We built the Collaboratory on one belief, that moving from AI experiments to AI results is not a technology challenge. It is a people challenge. The technology already exists. What organizations lack is the human infrastructure to absorb the change: redesigned work, new skills, sound decision-making, and accountable leadership. That is HR’s domain. If HR does not lead this conversation, HR inherits the fallout.
So we did something different from another conference. We formed a year-long task force of HR executives, academics, and AI practitioners to work on the hardest problems together. The voices of 247 participants from 79 organizations shaped our framework, The People Strategy for AI Adoption, and we are open-sourcing most of the materials for the whole profession.
On this site you’ll find our frameworks, working papers, thought leadership and session materials. The Glossary gives your teams a shared language, so HR, IT, finance and business leaders mean the same thing when they talk about AI. The Readings offer a curated, evidence-based foundation for your own learning, team discussions and leadership pre-reads.
Above all, we hope this work helps you bring focus to the people side of AI adoption and act before it becomes urgent. There is no playbook yet. Together, we are writing the first draft.
My thanks to my co-chairs, Sasha Arjannikova and Barbara Baill, our task force members, our sponsors, and board and committee members who gave countless hours to make this possible.
Now, let’s put it to work.
